When people ask me where my boyfriend is and I tell them I get one of two responses from one of two types of people:

The first type are the ones I adore, the ones that make the whole distance thing easier. These people say things like “wow! You should be so proud of him! Thank him for everything he does for us and our freedom!” or “he’s so lucky to have you and your support!” these people are angels and make me smile.

Then there are the fanny wads, ignorant rude fanny wads of the world. These people automatically respond with how THEY could never put up with it or how THEY couldnt handle the stress or the distance. Then there are the other people that say things like “aren’t you worried that he’s going to eventually get blown up or shot?” …right. Because I don’t already think about those possibilities, I needed you to remind me. Included in this group of people are the ones that are against war and think that by me supporting him and what he does means that i love war. Come on people. These people should really just shut their pie holes.
